We learnt how the brain functions at work and how your mind can be your most valuable piece of personal protective equipment.
Conference topics included: improving communication with different generations of workers, building psychologically healthy workplaces and how to create strong teams at work.

The conference steering committee was made up of representatives from Labour, Industry, the BC Forest Safety Council and WorkSafeBC. Sponsorships from industry allowed for free admission for delegates.
There was a trade show with targeted safety products and services for conference attendees. Refreshments and lunch were provided.
There was no charge for this conference. Non-perishable food items were donated to the Loaves and Fishes food bank by delegates.
