Certified Falling Supervisor

Falling supervisors are persons who actively supervise one or more fallers in the field. They are an integral part of a falling operation’s safety system.

The Falling Technical Advisory Committee (FTAC) identified the need to have an assessment process and certification program for falling supervisors. FTAC worked with BC Forest Safety Council (BCFSC) to develop the CFS program to address that need.

The Certified Falling Supervisor (CFS) program was designed and implemented to ensure that Falling Supervisors have the necessary training, skills, tools and experience to successfully oversee falling operations.
